Aargh.EXTRA CLEAN, 2 OWNER, 1984 CHEVROLET EL CAMINO CONQUISTA!Ĭomplete Pictures (including undercarriage) and Video at This 1984 Chevy El Camino Conquista is a 2 owner vehicle with the last owner having the truck since 1988. I’m guessing whoever buys this will toss in a completely new drivetrain and have a blast. The interior rear view mirror has detached itself from the windshield but is included. Until that is replaced the only way to open that door is with the exterior handle. The inner release handle for the drivers door is broken off. Includes the owners manual and multiple sets of keys. There are 4 additional 14” wheels (2 El Camino specific wheels and 2 generic GM) with petrified studded snow tires. Aside from those 2 things there are no modifications. There is a thermometer stuck to the dash and It has a bedliner. The cigarette lighter has never been used. The factory am/fm/cassette player does not work. The rubber weatherstripping seals for both doors are history. Some of the interior trim panels are loose/not attached properly. The previous owner seems to remember dad having it redone. The clearcoat is peeling on the hood/front fenders. I’m fairly certain it has never been in an accident or even a fender bender. It was repainted at some point years ago. The body is unbelievably straight/not rusty. I cannot recommend anyone drive the car home although it would probably make it if I had to guess. The power steering system, transmission, heater/defroster, instruments, horn, courtesy lights, exterior lights, etc. The brakes should be checked although they seem to work fine. The tires are ancient but somehow hold air. Be advised it needs a lot of work! The shocks are completely toast. Occasionally when someone tells you “it ran when I parked it” they aren’t lying. she started and ran fine after just a bit of cranking. I blew the dust off, pumped out the old fuel and replaced the battery. On 4/29/21 the camino was on a flatbed headed home to my folks place. When she checked out her daughter took the reigns. A dad/husband bought it new at Roy Robinson Chevrolet.
